The Sheepskin Heel Pad( aka Heel Posies) is made from Medical Sheepskin and is fully washable. A velcro strap keeps the heel pad on your foot. Use: Protects the skin of the heel from friction damage. Allows air to circulate at skin level and absorbs moisture. Bedsores or decubitus ulcers are unnecessary. Use a Sheepskin Heel Pad to prevent this debilitating discomfort. Care: Wash as you would a good woolen sweater. We recommend "Woolskin" the detergent developed by the tanning industry for the washing and disinfection of sheepskin.
