Pressure Smart XD 1900 Cushion-Its have a very high pile density - up to

1900g/m² ; more than double most sheepskins. This very high pile density

has resulted in better pressure reduction than that obtained by the Australian

Medical Sheepskin. Best of all, Pressure Smart XD Cushion-Its are machine

wash and machine dry; making them the choice of caregivers and Nursing

Homes. Ideal for incontinent users. Cushion-Its  are held in place by nylon

straps with velcro attachments. Pressure mapping established the effectiveness

of these Seat Pads and users found their moisture absorption excellent.

Cushion-Its reduce pressure and absorb perspiration; keeping the user

dry, comfortable and protected against the development of pressure

sores.

Care:

For best care, machine wash in Woolskin. The Pressure Smart XD

Cushion-It can be dried in the dryer. The HiTemp UR version should be air

dried away from direct sunlight or heat.

Do not overdry..wool is best when it has 15% residual moisture- just like human

hair.
