Cushion-Its are now available in two formats:
- HiTemp UR Medical Sheepskin Cushion-It
- Pressure Smart XD Cushion-It
HiTemp UR Australian Medical Sheepskin Cushion-Its are held securely in place by straps
with Velcro adjustments. Designed to fit most wheelchairs (measuring 18 X 22"), this pad
can be used as a seat or backrest. Order 2 for complete wheelchair bedsore prevention.
The leather of these sheepskins is perforated by an array of small holes to facilitate air
circulation. This patented AirTec system promotes air circulation so that the users' skin
can breathe freely and remain comfortably dry. Cushion-Its are Machine Washable and
Urine Resistant- unlike any other sheepskin pads available today. The wool is Medical green
and is FDA approved.
Pressure Smart XD Cushion-Its look the same as the HiTemp UR Medical Sheepskin Cushion-Its
because they are made up of the same high quality fine Merino wool. The pile density is up to
1900g/m2 ; more than double most sheepskins. Best of all, Pressure Smart XD Cushion-Its are machine
wash and machine dry; making them the choice of caregivers and Nursing Homes.
Cushion-It pads reduce pressure and absorb perspiration; keeping the user dry, comfortable
and protected against the development of pressure sores. The wool is Royal Blue and is FDA
approved.
